Omega Plus combines omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA) from cold-water fish with an omega-6 fatty acid – GLA from borage oil – in one gelcap. It supports heart, brain, skin, respiration, and bone health.
On average, Americans don't eat enough fish. The typical diet contains significantly more omega-6 fatty acids than omega-3 fatty acids. Thus, Omega Plus provides a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. Most people know that omega-3 fatty acids have significant health benefits. But Thorne's Omega Plus also contains the omega-6 fatty acid – gamma linolenic acid (GLA) – which offers similar benefits.
